Survey: #Readers Want to Know More About #Characters

In a recent survey, readers were asked what they'd like to see more of in a book or what they'd like to dive into deeper. The number one answer was, "I'd like to know more about the characters".

There's a simple way to give them a little character depth. Here's a three-paragraph meme on the hero, Gavin Langdale, from Land of Falling Stars.

Does this give you an inkling of what Gavin is like or who he loves? Can we detect his fears or inner thoughts? Do you think he's a kind or relatable character, and more importantly, does it make you want to read the book?

Please leave a comment and let me know. I'm intrigued by these character memes and think of it as another way to, hopefully, bring a great book to a reader.

"I loved, loved this book! I would give this more stars if they were available. Great read!"
"Land of Falling Stars has the ups and downs of a roller coaster and keeps the reader hanging on with bated breath. A ten-star read!"

“This story makes you believe in the possibility of retribution & the hope of finding your brass ring in the last place you look."❤
